The three yachts of Güldeniz Sailing Cruises are wooden twomasters and traditional built at the shipyards nearby Bodrum. Ship building in Bodrum started in Ancient history and still the best gulets and ketches are build in this area. All yachts have a crew consisting of a captain, a cook and two sailormen. The crew have their own quarters at the yacht. Our vessels sail under Turkish flag and are fully licensed, insuranced and certified for chartertours.
Captains Nedim, Hasan en Yusuf feel honoured to take care of their guests. Through their years of experience they know all sailing areas between Antalya and Izmir, always find lovely bays and have a modest and professional way of guiding their crew.
Grande Lale, Grandi en Kugu 1 are between 24 and 26 meters long, more than 6 meter wide and the draught is about 3 meters. The facilities on board are very comfortable. There are two-berth cabins aboard, all of them with a private bathroom. Most of the cabins have double beds. Some cabins have single beds. In the salon is an open kitchen, on the afterdeck is plenty of room for a large dining table. The foredeck is provided with sun beds. Generator, airconditioning, WiFi and an icemachine are on board. Outside you can use easy swimming stairs and an outside shower.
Every winter the yachts go to the shipyard for maintenance. Our own crew does this, together with specialised craftsmen. The sailplan is designed for good sailing. All our yachts ended several times at the highest positions in the classement of the Bodrum Cup, the annual sailing regatta for wooden yachts.
