Nedim Çetin brings a wealth of experience to Güldeniz Sailing Cruises, with 30 years in the travel industry. Before taking on his current role, Nedim spent 10 years working with Tussock Cruising, where he served as the captain of the Kugu 1. Today, he is the general director of Güldeniz Sailing Cruises, responsible for the organization and training of the crew. His deep love for the sea and passion for sailing are evident in his dedication to providing guests with unforgettable experiences.

Nedim shares his journey with pride:

“I was only 16 years old when I first signed up on a ship as a junior sailorman. Since then, this kind of work has been my passion, and I have worked very hard to become a good and experienced captain. The establishment of Güldeniz Sailing Cruises 15 years ago made it possible for me to fulfill my personal ideas about quality and skills.”

Nedim’s extensive experience and commitment to excellence ensure that every cruise with Güldeniz Sailing Cruises meets the highest standards of quality and service.

Jankees Salverda originally trained as a geographer and now works for a water company. He was also instrumental in introducing public transport by fast ships in the Netherlands. With over 25 years of business experience, Jankees has held various roles, including serving as a member of the local board of the Dutch municipality Utrechtse Heuvelrug. His deep passion for sailing is reflected in his commitment to maintaining a balance between traditional craftsmanship and modern equipment on our ships.

Jankees shares his perspective:

“The ship’s traditional construction, getting to know the craftsmen in Bodrum, the shipyard where so much handiwork is still done—everything is special! The unique permanent mooring in the harbour, the blend of tradition and innovation—it all comes together at Güldeniz Sailing Cruises.”

Jankees ensures that our ships are equipped with the best features, combining the charm of traditional design with the benefits of modern technology, providing a unique and enriching sailing experience for all our guests.

Ingeborg Oostlander-Çetin is working as consultant policy development and implementation within the field of traffic and transport. Her expertise lies in connecting various organizations, ideas, and people, always thinking beyond conventional boundaries. Ingeborg’s deep affection for Turkey and her ability to bridge different cultures and business practices make her an invaluable asset to Güldeniz Sailing Cruises.
