The three yachts of Güldeniz Sailing Cruises are beautiful wooden two-masters, traditionally built at the renowned shipyards near Bodrum. Shipbuilding in Bodrum dates back to ancient history, and even today, the area is famous for crafting the finest gulets and ketches. Each of our yachts is crewed by a captain, a cook, and two sailors, who have their own quarters on board. Our vessels proudly sail under the Turkish flag and are fully licensed, insured, and certified for charter tours.
Captains Nedim, Hasan, and Yusuf are honored to care for their guests. With years of experience, they are well-acquainted with all the sailing areas between Antalya and Izmir, always finding the most beautiful bays. They lead their crew with professionalism and a modest, friendly demeanor.
Our yachts, Grande Lale, Grandi, and Kugu 1, range from 24 to 26 meters in length, over 6 meters in width, and have a draught of about 3 meters. The onboard facilities are designed for comfort. Each yacht features two-berth cabins, all with private bathrooms. Most cabins are equipped with double beds, while some have single beds. The salon includes an open kitchen, and the spacious afterdeck hosts a large dining table. The foredeck is furnished with sunbeds for relaxation. Additionally, the yachts are equipped with a generator, air conditioning, WiFi, and an ice machine. For easy access to the water, there are swimming stairs and an outdoor shower.
Every winter, the yachts undergo maintenance at the shipyard, performed by our crew in collaboration with specialized craftsmen. The sail plan is optimized for excellent sailing performance, and our yachts have consistently ranked at the top in the Bodrum Cup, the annual sailing regatta for wooden yachts.
